Book 1: Uses Her Common Cents
Third grader Katharine Carmichael thinks coming up with the winning idea for the school-wide service project will be easy-breezy.  But her tattoo idea earns her a trip to the principal and her cookie business crumbles.  Katharine’s worried that her classmate Vanessa, AKA Miss Priss-A-Poo, will have the best idea for the second year in a row.  Can help from her cousin Crockett and a little common cents convince everyone that their latest idea is a winner?

Book 2: Major Mama Drama
Third grader Katharine Carmichael knows her mom’s super-duper secret and thinks it’s a super-duper dud!  Mrs. Carmichael is the new cook at Liberty Corner School—Katharine’s school!  When her mom blows her kisses, bans fries from the menu, and delivers sour milk to her classroom, Katharine’s stomach does a flip-flop belly drop.  After she’s teased about her mom’s In the Spotlight display, Katharine takes matters into her own hands!  Can Katharine survive her major mama drama?

Book 3: The Biggest Star by Far
Katharine Carmichael’s third grade class is putting on a play, Kids Rock in Space!  But there’s a problem: Katharine has stage fright-itis.  Katharine hopes advice from Penelope Parks, her idol, will turn her into a fab-u-lo-so actor.  When she gets the part of the sun—the brightest star by far—she gets a bad case of sassitude . . . just like Penelope!  Will the big day prove once and for all that Katharine is the biggest star by far?
 
Book 4: Bent Out of Shape
Katharine Carmichael thinks math is disgust-o.  When her teacher announces the geometry unit, she quickly discovers that even shapes are tricky in third grade.  She fails a test, is accused of being a Cheatie Girl, and finds out that her kindergarten teacher Mrs. Curtin is going to tutor her.  How embarrassing!  Will Mrs. Curtin help her earn an A or will Katharine stay bent out of shape forever?

Book 5: The Red, White, and Blue Crew
Katharine Carmichael is thrilled when Lady Liberty announces the upcoming third grade election.  She’s sure she’ll be a fab-u-lo-so president!  When her cousin Crockett is nominated instead, Katharine rallies the Red, White, and Blue crew to help him win the election.  After Katharine catches Miss Priss-A-Poo snooping around, she thinks Cheatie Girl will steal Crockett’s super-duper platform.  Can Katharine help Crockett win fair and square so they’ll all have a star-spangled year?

Book 6: Can’t Keep Trackula of Jackula
Halloween is just around the corner and Katharine Carmichael has made a spooky discovery!  Her baby brother, Jack, is a monster—and not just any monster, he’s Jackula, a blood-sucking vampire! On top of that, Crockett’s endless Halloween jokes are driving her batty, she’s sent to the principal for being a Stealie Girl, and she still doesn’t have a costume.  Will Miss Priss-A-Poo help Katharine discover the truth about Jackula before it’s too late or will monsters take over Liberty Corner School’s Halloween parade?
